Het is nog heel even wachten op de release van het nieuwe album van Steven Wilson: Hand. Cannot. Erase. Release: 27 februari. “Ancestral” (hier een vaag videootje) en “Happy Returns” waren al te horen tijdens eerdere concerten van Wilson in 2013. Hieronder wat studio-reports, een album-teaser en het nummer “Hand Cannot Erase” (zolang het nog op YouTube beschikbaar is dan).
Het album is zoals gebruikelijk weer in diverse normale vormen en dure exclusieve maten te krijgen, maar 80 euro is zelfs mij echt te gortig, al heb je dan wel diverse formaten, 5.1 mixen, demo’s en andere zooi op een paar schijfjes en een kek boekje (check hier).
Wilson over de tour:
… touring that will begin in March and most likely continue until the end of the year … Right now myself and my very talented musical and visual collaborators are planning the live show. The focus will be on the new album of course, but I will also play some older songs which I’ve not performed as a solo artist before, things that seem to fit well with the theme of the new album. Wilson speelt op 24 maart in TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht en op 23 april in Hedon in Zwolle.
